A booklet with the theme 'Just So Stories' by Rudyard Kipling was issued on 15th January 2002 priced at £2.70. The booklet contained 10x1st special issue stamps. The booklet was produced by Walsall and printed in Gravure on self adhesive paper.
A Prestige Booklet with the theme 'A Gracious Accession' was issued on 6th February 2002 and priced at £7.29. It was produced by Enschedé, with the Machin se-tenant pane (pane 1) being printed in gravure and containing 4xE NVI and 4x2nd NVI.
Pane 4 contained Wilding Decimal definitives with 4x1st NVI Green (the original 1½d design), 5x2nd NVI Carmine (the original 2½d design); one of the 2nd NVI stamps was separated from the main block and printed at a diagonal angle. The pane was printed in gravure on uncoated paper with a '50' watermark.
Four presentation packs were issued 12th March 2002. These included :-

A self adhesive customised retail booklet was issued on 2nd May 2002 and priced at £1.62. The 6x1st NVI booklet contained 4x1st NVI Flame and 2x1st NVI Airliners Special Issue stamps. The booklet was produced by Questa and printed by gravure.
Two revised Business Sheets were issued on 9th May 2002. These were the result of changing the printer from Walsall to Enschedé, the printings were still gravure on Self Adhesive paper. Interestingly, on the bottom panel of 24 of these sheets the Enschedé company imprint appears while on the reverse of this the Warrant Number, Date and Sheet Serial Number has been printed.

A self adhesive Customised Retail Booklet was issued on 21st May 2002 and priced at £1.62. The 6x1st NVI booklet contained 4x1st NVI Flame and 2x1st NVI World Cup Special Issue stamps. The booklet was produced by Walsall and printed by gravure.
Royal Mail started to introduce a rebranding of its product range on 5th June 2002. This was the result of a review of how the Royal Mail's business catered to requirements being made under the Disability Discrimination Act. Changes included - cover colours tied to stamp colour; large text on the front cover indicating content, notches on the cover side to differentiate between 2nd class NVI (two notches) and 1st class NVI books (one notch). Additionally, these booklets had the matrix surrounding stamps stripped away during manufacture.

A further 6x1st self adhesive booklet was issued on 4th July 2002 (priced at £1.62) and printed by Questa. As all products were now using the new rebranded design its unclear why this booklet was issued since the covers used the old design - red covers with multiple facsimiles and the stamps were flame with the paper matrix surrounding the stamps intact.
A self adhesive Customised Retail Booklet was issued on 10th September 2002 priced at £1.62. The 6x1st NVI Bridges of London booklet had the rebranded Gold cover and contained 4x1st NVI Gold and 2x1st NVI Tower Bridge Special Issue stamps. The booklet was produced by Questa and printed by gravure. The stamp matrix surrounding the stamps was stripped away during manufacture.
A Prestige Booklet with the theme Across the Universe was issued on 24th September 2002 and priced at £6.83. It was produced by Questa, with the Machin se-tenant pane (pane 3) being printed in gravure and containing and 4x1st NVI gold and 4xE NVI.
Pane 1 contained Country Pictorial definitives (4x1st England , 4x2nd England and 1st Scotland; all with full bleed) printed in Gravure.
The 'E' NVI Northern Ireland Country Pictorial definitive was reissued on 15th October 2002. This was the result of the printer changing from Walsall to De La Rue.

Two new stamp rolls became available from Post Offices during late 2002. The rolls were produced by Enschedé and printed in gravure using conventional gum.

These rolls were originally scheduled for 15th October 2002 but were delayed - the official issue date was 21st January 2003.
A Minisheet was issued on 5th December 2002 priced at £2.21. Entitled 'The Wilding definitive collection I' the minisheet contained decimal version of original Wilding designs and was printed on uncoated watermarked paper ('50' watermark) in gravure.
An associated presentation pack (pack no 59) also accompanied this issue priced at £2.60.
